Our Story

Established in the Fall of 2019, One Saint Home was created by a Black mother paying homage to her Black son. A play on his name, she formed the company while awaiting his arrival. One Saint Home is about developing the right home at the right price for legacies worth leaving. It infuses her love for her first child and her desire to create a safe and nurturing space for all families. The goal has always been to contribute to the growth and development of the community for people of color by helping individuals and families find a home that they can begin to build generational wealth through. 

One Saint hopes to assist in creating spaces for others where comfort, safety and security is felt. As it expands, we hope to highlight the essence of simplicity with a luxurious touch. We want to give our customers high quality products but most of all, we want to turn houses into homes.

Meet Kiana

A first time mother, Howard Alum, 11 year educator and real estate professional. Kiana started in education and pivoted into Affordable Housing development in her hometown on the Southside of Chicago when she noticed so many of her students’ families struggling to attain adequate housing. After earning a Masters in Real Estate from Roosevelt University and working in both the residential and commercial sectors she transitioned back to the DMV and is continuing to tie her love for family and real estate together. Being extremely familiar with the education system and its reciprocal relationship with housing she co-leads a real estate club for Dunbar High School Seniors helping them acquire their salesperson license and teaching about development, sales, insurance and everything under the umbrella of real estate. She hold a real estate license in 4 states and has provided consulting on various projects throughout Chicago, DC, Maryland and Virginia in the last four years.
